I know what you are thinking: you are starting a blog AND growing out your bangs at the same time? Wow, that’s really unfortunate timing. And while YES– I couldn’t agree with you more, it’s time. (For both.)
The truth is, I always wanted to start a blog. One that could capture my imagination and a place to let it free. When I started Dream Big Little One four years ago, I found myself writing about the very thing that rocked my world: my daughter’s dwarfism diagnosis. It started as a place to inform others and educate. It became a place where other mamas going through the same thing could feel hope and all the sudden, not alone. I will always be grateful for being able to counsel mamas like mamas did for me and for the friendships that blog provided all over the world.
After two years of reflecting and taking a pause… I knew I wanted to create a space that would allow for everything I love. A space that encompasses all of who we are and not just one part of our lives. A space where I can share my love for design, DIY, wellness, travel and just life in general. And of course, my love for the sea. Yes, I will still write about being a special needs mama, but I don’t want it to stop there.
So, after massive amounts of encouragement from my friends and family (they helped me pick the name!)… here we go again. This time, I write the rules. I would love for you to follow along– and if you are looking for us, chances are… we cozy down by the seashore.
